Human Factors Two-Day Virtual Train the Trainers Workshop
This two-day virtual workshop is designed for those working in education, patient safety or quality who want to spread and embed human factors concepts, tools and techniqiues into existing teaching or everyday work. This course compliments the systems-based approach taken by the National Patient Safety Strategy & Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF).
On this course you will gain a deep and rigorous understanding of human factors in relation to healthcare and patient safety, no prior human factors training is required. In our experience healthcare professionals attending this course easily grasp the concepts, as our teaching resonates with their own real-world experiences. Course facilitated by two senior healthcare professionals with significant experience in human factors and clinical education.
This interactive online course supports you to gain new or build upon existing human factors knowledge and apply it directly into everyday work within your organisation. Content includes but is not limited to – Introduction to human factors inc SEIPS, systems thinking, just culture, psych safety, performance influencing factors, human performance modules such as incivility, leadership, communication, assertiveness, situational awareness, stress & wellbeing, inter-professional education, facilitation and debriefing skills.
